YALC believes that homework is a very important follow-up of your child’s daily lesson. Youth professionals will facilitate and assist your child with their homework completion. In addition, project based learning is a youth driven, hands-on, service learning project curriculum implemented weekly, Monday thru Friday according to the Philadelphia Public School District Calendar.

BEFORE SCHOOL

The Before School program provides a service in the morning from 7:15 AM for parents that need to be at work bright and early. We provide a secure place for children to be before the bell rings. This allows for extra study and homework time.

AFTER SCHOOL

Youth Development professionals are on site to receive youth upon school dismissal from approximately 2:45 – 5:45pm. Hours of service include scheduled Early Dismissals. Youth will receive a daily snack prior to engaging in homework and other activities.
